PP-9100 VTR has the ability to carry out continuous sampling of soil, soil gas measurement, installation of wells for gas measurement for monitoring and/or injection - extraction of fluids.

One of the advantages of this versatile VTR PP-9100, is its great mobility in areas of difficult access due to its tracks all terrain and its easy maneuverability between corridors and production lines. AMS Power Probe VTR-9100 has individual tube and double tube sampling system for the collection of soil samples. Today, this sampling methodology is most efficiently used for this type of work, because using this method reduces to the maximum risk of contamination crossed by transfer or manipulation of samples. This results in obtaining samples unchanged and more representative of the conditions of the study site.

Direct Push (DP)
The method of direct push is applied through the use of the hydraulic hammer of 175 inch-lb of power and high frequency that piling pipes of different sizes and lengths. Initially, can even break asphalt or concrete using a corer of diameter 89 mm and 550 mm in length.

Continuous sampling of soil: Performed with grounding Rod double wall G2 has an outside diameter of 51 mm and 38 mm PVC disposable inner tube; its length is 1.2 m., commonly comes to drill up to 15 m depth.

Soil gas: Is made with hollow boreholes 41 mm in diameter and a length of 1.2 m; space hollow interior introduces polypropylene hose (or other) 7 mm in diameter, adjusted to a retractable metal point at the base. In soft soils it can reach a depth of 20 m.

Installation of wells for monitoring: Meeting the international standards through the use of pre - packed 21 mm diameter PVC pipe.

Fluid injection - extraction: Using drills up to 51 mm diameter, specially designed for the injection of fluids.

Driller CME 55

The Central Mine Equipment (CME) 55 punch is one of the most powerful machines available for environmental services in Mexico. This drill has a 6-cylinder diesel engine, 5.9 liters and 5-speed at the front and reverse. With a security system self-stopping distributed in core parts of the equipment.

CME-55 environmental drilling equipment is mounted on a truck diesel Mercedes Benz brand, in chassis of twin-shaft, allowing greater stability and efficiency in fuel consumption during the transfer to the job sites. The 55 CME has a retractable system with a capacity of 12,826 kg and with a power of vertical pressure of 9,400 kg; both provided by a hydraulic system for high efficiency. Its rotary mechanical system provides a torque of up to 12,784 Nm, as well as high speed of rotation.

Helical Hollow Drilling (HHD)
The CME 55 traditionally used the HHD for environmental drilling services on land not consolidated, as it does not use drilling fluids and can obtain samples of undisturbed soil through the use of shelby tubes or semi - altered with the usage of headings spoons, allowing geotechnical information of hardness and soil consolidation (Penetration hammer).

Items spoons used in CAM are 50 to 76 mm outside diameter and variable length between 500 or 750 mm this method of sampling may be continuous or with specific previously defined intervals.

This machine use to drill helical boreholes with varied external diameters ranging from 169 to 432 mm with these is possible to install wells of monitoring, injection or extraction wells from 20 up to 305 mm in diameter. Although by its price and availability, the most common is to install PVC wells, CAM can use any other material, such as: stainless steel or fiberglass.

The depth of drilling with HHD is highly dependent on the type of lithology and drilling diameter, but we can reach up to 45 m using 169 mm boreholes and installing wells in 20 or 50 mm in diameter.

Tri-conical Drill and Diamond Drill Bit (TD and DDB)
CAM offers services of environmental drilling into rock, through the use of boreholes NWJ with an external diameter of 61 mm and tri conical 99 mm diameter bits or diamond bits with 61 mm in diameter. In both cases it is possible to install wells of monitoring, injection or removal of 20 mm diameter.
Equipment physical characteristics
Weigh: 11 000 kg
Length: 8.5 m
Width: 2.5 m

Max height c/mast lying: 3.7 m
Max height with raised mast:8.2 m

To use the TD, CAM offers the alternative of drilling using air as the mechanism of "lubrication of boreholes and ascending mobilization of the cut", emphasizing that in this case obtained continuous fragmented rock cuts.

In the case of the bond obtained complete rock cores, collected at intervals that you specify for the project. This methodology is necessary to use drilling fluids consisting mainly of water and bentonite; that although not significantly alter the chemistry of the subsoil, if they wash the nuclei of rock which are obtained. CAM has developed drilling projects using TD and DDB that have reached up to 100 m depth with respect to the Earth's surface.
