Decontamination and decommissioning of industrial buildings

In CAM we consider that the most valuable to the company are our customers, employees and subcontractors, is for this reason that all our activities of demolition and decontamination of industrial plants and its administrative offices, have the execution of meticulous and well supported plans and programs of safety and hygiene, specific to the site where the project is developed.

In order to perform the activities of demolition and remediation of industrial plants, we carry out and ask for the following preliminary tasks:

1) Visit of recognition in the industrial plant.
2) Request for information of location and inventory of equipment and infrastructure.
3) List of materials and hazardous waste to handle.
4) Environmental policies of the company, environmental permits available and their solid and hazardous waste management suppliers.
5) Contact with local suppliers.

By having the necessary legal permits, leads to the execution of decontamination and decommissioning activities.

CAM staff at management level will be constituted at the site by a manager of safety and hygiene and a transaction manager. Between them they shall ensure that employees crews, cranes, cutters and cargo staff make the removal of materials and equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible way.

With the collected information, CAM generates the technical/economic service proposal of demolition and remediation of industrial plants. If this is accepted by the client, then CAM develops the following guide:

a) Specific Health and Safety Plan.
b) Plan of Waste Management and Application to Authorities.
c) Work plan defines the characteristicsv of the project and those responsible for part of the customer and CAM.
